| Job Description: |
Accountant having 3-4 years relevant working experience, including e-filing of S.Tax and WHIT. Should be proficient in Quick-Books Online (or similar accounting software) and MS-Office. B.Com and part qualified ICMA/CIMA/ACCA.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Check invoices for inaccuracies
- Reconcile accounts with the general ledger
- Handle general account queries
- Contact clients about invoices that are past due
- Maintain digital and physical records of invoices and contracts
- Monthly and Annually Tax Filling
- Good command & understanding of taxation
- Preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable
- Completing purchase orders
- Completing financial reports on a regular basis and providing information to the finance team
- Assisting with budgets
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Entering financial information into appropriate software programs
- Managing company ledgers
- Processing business expenses
- Coordinating internal and external audits
- Verifying balances in account books and rectifying discrepancies
- Verifying bank deposits
- Managing day-to-day transactions
- Encoding accounting entries for data processing
- Sorting financial documents and posting them to the proper accounts
- Reviewing computer reports for accuracy and meticulously tracing errors back to their source
- Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to this role.
