Engineering & Technical Services has an immediate opening for a full-time Finance Officer. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain complete billing records for assigned clients.
• Review each invoice in final form; prepare record and mail invoices to clients.
• Review, research, and resolve client overpayments.
• Manages accounting functions including maintenance of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and project accounting; Ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Develops, implements and maintains systems, procedures and policies, including accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to guidelines.
• Manages monthly closing of financial records and posting of month-end information; Ensure accuracy of financial statements.
• Provides accounting assistance to managers and operations staff; responds to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs.
• Acts as a liaison between the organization & the external auditors to meet information needs and to ensure that proper information is maintained for historical purposes.
• Prepares and recommends operating and personnel budgets for approval.
• Monitors spending for adherence to budget, recommends variances as necessary. Constantly update tracking sheets for revenue
• Balance bank and company accounts
• Collect financial records and reports of various departments
• Monitor and manage clients’ accounts
• Inspect balance sheet and correct errors where available
• Maintain accounting standards and style of the company
• Submit records of accounts reconciliations to management as stipulated
• Work well with others as part of a team.
• Perform other duties as needed or required.
• Must be fluent in English and can handle international clients.
