Job Description!

• Maintain strict confidentiality about patient treatment, diagnosis, and related procedures
• Ability to handle multi-functions across numerous software, websites and documents.
• Ability to work proficiently and efficiently in a timely manner.
• Ability to meet daily deadlines, take responsibility and work under pressure
• Serve as a point of contact for patient billing queries
• Insurance verification and patient registration
• Perform other duties as required or assigned within the scope of responsibility
• Scan and upload appropriate documents to patient accounts
• Weekly reporting of collection accounts, problem accounts and any billing issues.
• Posting charges & payments, submitting & following up on claims.
• Knowledge of insurance payers, insurance verification, AR/revenue billing lifecycle and appealing denied claims.

Requirement

• Experience in using one or more Practice Management Systems/Billing Software.
• Excellent documentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Daily completion of clearinghouse and practice software edits and rejection.
• Experienced in Urgent care billing and follow up process.
• 2+ years of experience in medical billing
• Urgent Care Billing experience is a plus point.
