We are looking for a Linux Server Administrator to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth network operation.

Responsibilities

• Research and make recommendations on server system administration


• To manage linux/unix servers


• Ensure network security and connectivity


• Install and integrate new server hardware and applications


• Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses


• Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords


• Define network policies and procedures, resolve problems reported by end user and specify system requirements and design solutions


• Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer’s networks and in house servers

Requirements

• Atleast Bachelors degree in a relevant field


• 3 years experience must in well known software house / networking company


• Prefferable to have any knowledge about CCNA/CCNP, devops/sysops, trainings/certifications


• Must have the knowledge of linux and unuix based servers


• script writing in bash/python for task automation


• Ability to set up and configure a secure in-house server


• experience to setup server for hosting multiple tools for internal/external users
