Job Purpose
Hutchison Ports Pakistan is hiring young talents who wish to explore career opportunities with us and develop himself /herself to be a Certificate Planner up to the highest standards of Hutchison Ports. The recruited candidate(s) will undergo 3 stage certification programme (18 months) in terminal at Karachi and upon satisfactory completion of the programme, the candidate will be offered with position of Planner in our terminal.
JOB Description
- Provide centralized and intergrated control and planning service to Group Business Units (BUs).
- Deliver timely planning service to BUs for Ops executions.
- Understanding the principles of logistics and terminals operations
- Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.
- Work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.
- Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as yard & ship planner of other terminals.
- Keep detailed records, generate reports and develop presentations to help management understand the operations perspective.
