Job Purpose

Hutchison Ports Pakistan is hiring young talents who wish to explore career opportunities with us and develop himself /herself to be a Certificate Planner up to the highest standards of Hutchison Ports. The recruited candidate(s) will undergo 3 stage certification programme (18 months) in terminal at Karachi and upon satisfactory completion of the programme, the candidate will be offered with position of Planner in our terminal.

JOB Description

  • Provide centralized and intergrated control and planning service to Group Business Units (BUs).
  • Deliver timely planning service to BUs for Ops executions.
  • Understanding the principles of logistics and terminals operations
  • Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.
  • Work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.
  • Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as yard & ship planner of other terminals.
  • Keep detailed records, generate reports and develop presentations to help management understand the operations perspective.
