| Job Description: |
Responsibilities:
- Preparing, reviewing and transmitting medical health claims using medical billing software
- Identify and billing to secondary or tertiary insurances
- Follow up on unpaid medical health claims and rejections
- Calling insurance companies regarding any discrepancies in payments if necessary
- Works on follow up of assigned medical health claims with open accounts receivables via insurance portal or insurance calls
- Appealing denial medical health claims
Requirements:
- Must have AR experience in the Medical Billing industry
- Experienced in Managing the Overall Revenue Cycle
- Strong Microsoft word, Excel and Outlook skills
- Ability to multitask in fast pace environment
- Excellent knowledge of coding, billing cycle and insurance guidelines
