| Job Description: |
JOB SUMMARY:
This role will be responsible for management of core banking applications in terms of customizations, implementation of new modules, reporting/MIS/data requirements, integrations with other channels/systems, bug fixing, testing and deployments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
- Maintain ownership and in depth technical understanding of the core banking applications suite
- Coordination with vendors for desired solutions; evaluate solutions and provide technical recommendations
- Coordination within IT team, and vendor(s) for change management
- Coordination with other departments for design, functionality reviews, testing, training, etc.
- Conduct periodic reviews and recommend/plan for upgrades, enhancements to the application from functional and technical perspective
- Ensure proactive and collaborative management to prevent delays and bottlenecks; escalate issues timely for resolution
- Ensure seamless operation and availability of core banking system
- Establish understanding of database structure and oversee extraction and provision of data/MIS requirements from other departments
- Coordination with relevant teams for integration of core banking with other channels/systems, and troubleshooting of the same as needed
