| Job Description: |
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot hardware and software systems, including servers, workstations, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.
- Install, configure, and update software applications, operating systems, and security patches.
- Ensure data backup and recovery procedures are in place and working effectively.
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other cyber security threats.
- Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Manage user accounts and permissions for access to network resources and applications.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, system diagrams, and policies and procedures.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommend new solutions to improve IT infrastructure and processes.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to understand and address their technology needs and requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware and software procurement and support.
- Develop and conduct training programs to educate employees on IT best practices and technologies
Skills / Requirements:
- Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, and networking systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages and software development methodologies.
- Experience with system administration, network management, and cyber security practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Familiarity with cloud computing technologies and services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with end-users and other stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address complex technical challenges.
- Experience with project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
