| Job Description: |
- Internal Audit officer shall follow the code of ethics i.e. objectivity, independence, professional competence, and, confidentiality.
- He will follow the company policy and procedures and should be a role model for others.
- He will conduct an Audit of locations in Lahore including Branches as per the audit plan assigned by the Head of the Department.
- Audit officer shall conduct the audit by using Risk Based Approach (RBA) and the subject matter can be checked on a sample base or 100% (as per HOD direction).
- He will inspect inherent risks, controls, and residual risks.
- Shall evaluate the staff efforts to meet the company’s objectives, targets and identify the deficiencies in the report with recommendations.
- He will evaluate the compliance of the company’s policies e.g. HR policy, customer services SOPs, expense policy, product-related policies, Assets usage/protection policy, safety, and security policy, fraud policy, etc., and identify the discrepancies in his/her report with recommendations.
- Audit Officer shall conduct stock-taking frequently at branches (ideally twice a month) and report discrepancies.
- Audit officer shall count cash (PKR) on branches at every visit and identify the difference between physical cash balance and balance as per system and report.
- Audit office shall evaluate the efficiency of the POS system and recommend for betterment.
- Audit officer shall evaluate the ambiance of locations e.g. cleanliness, environment, presentation, customer care, staff discipline, dress code, etc.
- Audit officer shall evaluate the efficiency of customer services, staff capability to address the customer’s queries, their product knowledge,
- Audit officer shall evaluate the associated risks i.e. fraud, theft, misuse of funds or assets, robbery, health and safety issues, and operational disruption due to the absence of backup resources e.g. electricity, internet, and staff.
- Audit officer shall evaluate the internal control deployed to address the associated risks and their efficiency.
- Shall evaluate the staff capabilities to enhance the business performance and can recommend his/her transfer or termination.
- Audit officer shall investigate any incidence of fraud, embezzlement, misreporting, or misconduct and report the facts in his/her report.
- Audit officer shall seek advice, and consultation only from HOD and similarly send audit reports to his/her HOD.
- Audit report should cover the qualitative and quantitative aspects.
- Any other assignment given by HOD.
