 Responsibilities;

• Orient Cargo Services is looking to hire a dynamic and energetic resource who is responsible for Assisting management of Accounts & Taxation team.

Accounts Management

• Prepare documentation for international remittances and liaison with charted accountant to ensure compliance on state bank’s requirements.


• Communicate with local customers, partners, vendors and international agents to resolve accounting disputes, taxation concerns and compliance matters related to accounts and taxation


• Provide training to new and existing members of the team.


• Ensure that self and the team stay up to date on compliance with company’s ERP system.


• Ensure a close followup via E-Mail and telephone with international AR & AP accounts to ensure timely recoveries and payments

Tax Compliance

• Ensure compliance of taxation on billing, payments and receipts.


• Prepare, compile and file tax statements on different taxation portals on timely basis, including those of with-holding tax, sales tax and income tax


• Maintain records for audit purposes as per guidelines of external auditor


• Liaison with billing teams and other internal teams to ensure compliance on taxation and communicate with customers and agents to resolve taxation related concern


• Stay updated with latest changes in tax regulations and update relevant stake holders in timely manner

Reporting & Record Keeping

• Prepare, analyse and present fortnightly and monthly reports to Manager Accounts and Executive management on timely basis


• Regular and timely reporting to Management as per the SOP and as required by the management.


• Maintain record as per SOP given internally and as per legal requirements of tax regulators


• Maintain record of legal documents, warranties and service records related to company assets.
