| Job Description: |
Job Responsibilities
- Scheduling drivers to make freight deliveries or collect shipments.
- Communicating with drivers about freight details, delivery or pickup times
- Planning pre-determined routes and accommodating route changes as needed.
- Preparing dispatch documents, as well as generating freight bills and invoices.
- Monitor the progress of shipments daily to ensure coverage and on-time performance and address any mid-transit issues
- Ability to work in US time zones.
Preferred Experience
- Trucking & Logistics industry experience
- Dispatching experience for a US carrier
- Customer service experience
Soft Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communications skills in English
- Ability to take initiative
- Strong work ethic
Compensation: 40K - 50K Fixed + Commissions |
