| Job Description: |
Major Responsibilities:
- Proofreading and amending manuscripts for errors and inconsistencies;
- Track Changes (MS Word) accept and reject changes;
- Carrying out amendments suggested by the client.
- Setting publication standards and establishing goals and expectations.
- Reviewing files that have been proofread by junior editors to make sure they are up to publishing standards.
Skill-set Required:
- A strong grip on English Language;
- Excellent grasp on MS Office;
- Must have an in-depth knowledge of the grammatical rules and norms;
- Must have a hawk-eye on differences between British and American spellings;
- Concentration, consistency, and attention to detail;
- Working under pressure
- Having passed IELTS or TOEFL tests, or having an O/A Level background is a plus
