| Job Description: |
The Warehouse / Logistics Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the company's warehouse and logistics operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely delivery of products, and supporting the smooth operation of sales activities. This position requires excellent team management and coordination skills, as well as a deep understanding of warehouse and logistics processes and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and logistics team, ensuring efficient logistics operations and meeting customer demands.
- Develop and implement warehouse and logistics strategies, including inventory management, warehouse layout, transportation plans, and distribution schemes, to ensure accurate product delivery and effective inventory management.
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with relevant regulations and standards, overseeing the implementation of safety practices and environmental protection measures.
- Responsible for the maintenance and updating of warehouse equipment and facilities, ensuring their proper functioning and safety.
- Monitor and analyze warehouse and logistics operational data, providing reports and recommendations regarding efficiency, costs, and quality, among others.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, procurement, and production to coordinate logistics requirements and delivery plans, ensuring supply chain coordination and smooth operations.
- Identify and manage logistics suppliers and third-party logistics partners, negotiate contracts and service agreements, and oversee their performance.
- Continuously improve warehouse and logistics processes to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Train and mentor team members, enhancing their professional skills and work efficiency.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience in warehouse and logistics management, preferably in a sales company or related industry.
- Strong team management and leadership skills, able to effectively guide and motivate team members.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities, capable of building good working relationships with different departments and suppliers.
- In-depth understanding of warehouse and logistics operations and processes, familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving, able to make decisions and improvements based on data and metrics.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, able to handle multiple tasks and emergency situations.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and office automation tools, such as SAP systems.
