Centricsource is looking for a self-driven, highly motivated, hands on experience as Senior Database Administrator. Candidate should have 5 years of professional administration and development experience preferably in MySQL database and Good to have other databases MS SQL , Oracle.

 Required Skills

• Provision MySQL instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations.
• Ensure performance, security, and availability of multiple databases.
• Decent experience with recent versions of MySQL.
• Strong proficiency in MySQL database management.
• Knowledge of 'relational database management systems' (RDBMS), 'object oriented database management systems' (OODBMS) and XML database management systems.
• Experience with their database software/web applications.
• The ability to work quickly, under pressure and to deadlines.
• Up-to-date knowledge of technology and the Data Protection Act
• Ability to work well in a fast paced environment, where the technology is constantly changing.
• Experience and good hands on MySQL's underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB and MyISAM.
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for MySQL.
• Experience working with Unix/Linux servers.
• Familiarity with other databases server such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MariaDB etc.
• Must know how to handle Security such as Grant Rollback and Transaction.
• Knowledge of limitations in MySQL and their workarounds in contrast to other popular relational databases.
• Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, replication etc.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as  Git /  BitBucket / SVN.
• Knowledge of de-facto standards and best practices in MySQL.
• Experience with replication configuration in MySQL.
• Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications.

Good to have:

• Highly proficient in data modelling.
• Must have good hands-on skills on data modelling tool.
• Highly skilled in database analysis, tuning, indexing and Database optimization techniques.
• Good knowledge and hands-on skills of at least one RDBMS database. 
• Good to have knowledge and working experience in at least one "No SQL" database.
• Experience with Customer Life Cycle and Customer 360 data warehousing methodology, configuration, implementation and best practices.
• Experience in having No SQL administration skills.

• Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
• Data migration within multiple databases like primary and slave.
• Training colleagues in how to input and extract data.
• Prepare documentations and specifications.
