1. Develop understanding and good will with the guests. Providing highest possible level of service to achieve highest guest satisfaction.
2. Assist Restaurant Manager in all areas of restaurant.
3. Schedule, train and supervise supervisors and Waiters.
4. Cover shifts and assist servers on floor during meal periods
5. Assist with developing menus.
6. Responsible for maintaining sanitation, cleanliness & hygiene standard.
7. Helping guests to choose suitable menus.
8. Ensure that customer is given efficient personalized service according to their choice.
9. Report & control breakage and losses in the outlet
10. Ensure immediate action on customer complaints both to the satisfaction of the customer and the protection of the Hotel, before the customer leaves the Restaurant.
11. Ensure maintenance of log book for the purpose of recording and disseminating pertinent information and instructions to all concerned.
12. Inform customers about F & B promotions and banquet functions to apprise the customer accordingly.
13. Set a personal example for the associates by consistent and impartial behavior in all personnel matters, including discipline through respect.
14. Perform any other function as may be assigned by the management.
15. Provide necessary feedback on all important activities to the Restaurant Manager / F & B Manager.
16. Abide by the policies, rules and regulations of the Hotel on various issues / matters and Marriott Standard Operating Procedures.
17. Check personal hygiene and be well groomed in appearance by wearing a smart, clean and tidy dress with a name tag.
18. Maintain a professional image and be friendly and cheerful under all circumstances.
