Dreamnode Studios is seeking a kickass 2D Concept Artist that has concept experience with creating a diverse visual range of characters, environments, architecture, and related game assets. A solid grasp of form, structure, color, and light for 2D art assets is essential.

Dreamnode Studios is a mobile game development studio in Karachi whose pure focus is to make breakthrough games. Requirements

• Working experience in illustration, graphic design, concept art


• Bachelor degree in Fine Arts or Illustration is preferred but not limited to.


• Experience animating in Flash a big plus


• Unity3D a huge plus!


• Experience with Maya a big plus


• Ability to thumbnail and conceptualize ideas quickly


• Great sense of line and form, color and lighting in a variety of styles


• Shipped at least 1 mobile projects from concept to completion


• Expert level in Photoshop, Illustrator or Flash (preferably more than one)


• Strong passion for gaming


• Excellent oral and written communication skills


• Excellent organization and efficient time management skills are required


• Proven ability to work effectively with small teams in a deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design and create highly refined Illustrations and graphic art for games in a friendly, accessible style for mobile games


• Visualize and create lovable characters and their environments to be converted in to 3D assets


• Design concepts for pre-game screens and HUD


• Create and design symbol illustrations, UIs, buttons, etc


• Ability to work on multiple art assets and ability to multitask


• As a generalist, you will solve problems across multiple platforms and pipelines
