| Job Description: |
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare. MSF offers assistance to people based on need, irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.
General objectives:
- Responsible for daily operations and routines in the NBU
- Assist the Expat Pediatrician in the management of all medical activities (care, training, operational research) in the NBU, as required
- Assume co-management of the NBU in collaboration with the NBU Nurse Supervisor in the absence of Expat Pediatrician
- Ensures the administrative supervision of the NBU medical officers in collaboration with the HR department
- Contribute to discussions on NBU objectives and implementation as a member of the hospital management team.
- Reports to the Expat Pediatrician on any relevant information linked to NBU activities and participates in monthly reports (Monthly Medical Report, SITREP, quarterly report, mortality audit)
