·         Good knowledge of networking technologies such as LAN, Internet, wireless and IP telephony

·         Troubleshooting skills related to network and security devices e.g. switches, firewalls

·         Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades.

·         undertaking data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments, using information from multiple sources;

·         securing network system by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access

·         Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks.

·         Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information and lead projects

·         configuration of routing and switching equipment

·         Remote support of on-site engineers and end users

·         Remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur

·         liaising with project management team, Help-Desk team on a regular basis

·         Incident/Problem escalation to the up level team and follow the defined process

·         Speaking with users via email and phone, and site visit
