Solotech Labs (a group company of Soloinsight Inc) is looking for a self-driven, highly motivated Senior Database Administrator. Candidate should have more than 4 years of professional administration and development experience preferably in MySQL database and Good to have other databases MS SQL, Oracle.

Required Skills

• Provision MySQL instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations.
• Experience and good hands-on MySQL's underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB and MyISAM.
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for MySQL.
• Ensure performance, Tuning, security, and availability of multiple databases.
• Develops and enforces database administration and user standards and procedures
• Experience with replication configuration in MySQL with different Server.
• Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration.
• Strong proficiency in MySQL database management.
• Must know how to handle Security such as Grant Rollback and Transaction.
• Knowledge of 'relational database management systems' (RDBMS), 'object-oriented database management systems' (OODBMS) and XML database management systems.
• Experience working with Linux servers.
• The ability to work quickly, under pressure and to deadlines.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, where the technology is constantly changing.
• Knowledge of de-facto standards and best practices in MySQL.
• Ability to plan resource requirements from high-level specifications.
• Audits modify and amend data in systems using SQL commands
•  Hand-editing, and bulk import

Good to have:

• Highly proficient in data modeling.
• Must have good hands-on skills in data modeling tool.
• Highly skilled in database analysis, tuning, indexing, and Database optimization techniques.
• Good knowledge and hands-on skills of at least one RDBMS database. 
• Good to have knowledge and working experience in at least one "No SQL" database.
• Experience in having No SQL administration skills.
