Major Responsibilities:

Operations & Maintenance (OSP)

•Reduction of MSAN,ONUs MSAG break down due to Power issue managing good battery back up and monitoring.

•Improvement of high loss sections of switching ONUs and MSAGs.

•O&M of Power plant and A.C Units of ONUs and MSAGs.

•O&M of DG sets, Rectifiers, batteries and also replacement of Batteries.

•Ensure rectification of faults related to DG Sets , Rectifiers , Air Conditioning system and ONUS, MSAG and BTS.

•Preparation of daily referred faults and proactive actions.

•Ensure protection of switches vulnerable to environmental conditions.

•Management and Technical hold in O&M of Power Plant Equipment of MSAGs/ONUs.

•Resolving issues of MSAGs / ONUs with Coordination of C5 Soft switch and Switch Field Staff related Faults clearance and Resolving issues of MSAGs/ONUs.

•Attending ONUs / MSAGs to deploy Generator, replace Batteries and to save them from Failure.

•Monitoring daily alarm of ONUs /MSAGs and OLT.

•Maintenance of AC Units of ONU/ MSAG to keep cooling as per Standard.

Operations & Maintenance (ISP)

•Ensure protection of Power equipment vulnerable to environmental conditions.

•O&M of Rectifier units, Inverters alarm monitoring, trouble shooting and proper logging.

•Look after trouble shooting of Battery sets.

•Proper checking of MDBs and DBs.

•Managing all Power related issues of concerned exchanges.

•Record keeping and maintaining History Sheets of equipment.

•Preparation of Data and identifying the problems of Power related issues.

Monitors Alarms:

•Keeping track of various system alarms within the exchange to resolve any issue

Coordinates with O&M and other MSUs:

•Coordination with other O&M and interconnect partners (OLOs & CMOs)

•Any Other Projects Assigned by the Supervisor.
