Windows Systems Administrator and Network Engineer Job in Great Computer Solutions, Inc

Job Description

• Great Computer Solutions Inc (Microsoft Gold Certified, Midmarket Solution provider, Managed service provider) is looking for Windows Systems Administrator and Network Engineer. 
• Engineer will be responsible for remotely managing networks in USA and work with full coordination with other Technical staff such as CTO, Chief System Architects and other development team members.  
• Should be able to prioritize the work and multi-task.

Responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration & maintenance of all servers whether they are located in Pakistan or USA like mail servers, file servers, Active Directory and DNS servers, also hardware devices like switches, routers, firewalls and modems.
• Perform administration of production servers and workstations.
• Perform security audits to ensure compliance with company policies and government requirements.
• Review performance/resource utilization graphs for all production systems and provide recommendations to management for doing capacity planning and systems improvement.
• Monitor IT infrastructure which includes production servers, network devices, network paths, connectivity, storage, voice quality/paths and take appropriate actions, troubleshoot and follow-up until issue is fixed.
• Ensure Data backup and recovery operations Trouble shooting and updating of hardware and software Creation of IT Security, backup tools and processes Documentation of IT Procedures Provide secure system definition, specification, policies, and procedures development.
• Continuously monitor internet hacking, intrusions and virus attacks or any other possible security holes in the network & services.
• Ensure 24 hours VPN connectivity between client locations.
• Troubleshoot issues related to network (local or internet) & servers promptly. Implement solutions including hardware or software to plug security holes. Implement, configure & maintain an automatic backup system for all critical data
• Implement test & verify disaster recovery plans. Put in place procedures to prevent Data Loss/Theft

Skills Required

• Fluency in English communication
• MCSE, MCITP or MCSA is required from a reputable school/college
• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Network Administrator
• Experience in Windows Server 2012/2016, AZURE, and AWS
• Experience in programming firewalls is required Experience in Microsoft Exchange Server, Office 365, and Hosted Email platforms
• Anti-virus installation, clean up and protective measures
• Knowledge of UNIX, VoIP phone system and infrastructure will be a plus.
• Ability to learn new tools is required.  Particularly we are looking for candidate to be able to learn Managed Service Providers’ software “labtechsoftware.com”.
