| Job Description: |
We are looking for individual with strong knowledge and technical experience of NOC/SOC operations.
Required Experience:
- Background and experience of Installation and configuration of NOC/SOC monitoring tools.
- Through understanding on the functionality and behavior of these tools
- Proficient in implementation and use of IT monitoring solutions specifically opensource genre e.g Nagios, Zabbix, Cacti etc.
- Experience in monitoring and managing of Application servers e.g. Web, Database, Directory servers.
- Familiar with the Syslogs, SNMP, SNMP Trap, IPMI, SSH, WMI etc
- Background/Experience of designing, installation, configures and maintenance of IPS/IDS, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Anti-Malware, etc. is a plus.
- Cross functioning with different development, operations and sales team.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
Education/Certification Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related field.
- CCNA certification preferred.
- MCSA certification preferred.
- 4 years of working in NOC / SOC or of large / distributed ICT environment.
- 4 years of experience monitoring systems, application, hardware, network infrastructure.
- 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
