• Sets up, adjusts, and operates electronic imaging equipment, and microfilm      equipment.
• Performs routine equipment cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs.
• Validates electronic images using specialized software.
• Prepares original documents for imaging.
• Performs general quality control functions. (Inspects electronic and microfilm images, ensures accuracy of film box labels, measures film density and resolution, maintains and updates various control logs).
• Retrieves, delivers, and files records when requested by departments.
• Releases electronic images to secure repository.
• Prepare patient for diagnostic imaging exam in line with doctor's notes.
• Produce x-ray films of parts of the human body as prescribed by the doctor under supervision of Radiologist.
• Explain procedure to patient.
• Adjust and maintain radiology equipment.
• Recommend staff schedules (weekly or monthly) to Radiologists.
• Privacy and safety of patients must be ensured.
• Radiological investigation reports duly signed by the Radiologist should be handed over to their respective department for their necessary action.
• Safety of equipment and own safety must be ensured as per PNRA guidelines.
• Keep record of all the Radiological Investigations.
• Follow Standard SOPs of laboratory.
