| Job Description: |
Key Responsibilities
-
Develop and optimise formulations for PVC one pack products (stabilisers)
-
Work specifically with one-pack lead-based PVC stabilisers and related additives.
-
Conduct reverse engineering of competitor/market products to match performance and cost benchmarks.
-
Provide technical support during production trials and troubleshoot processing issues.
-
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth scale-up from lab to factory.
-
Prepare technical reports, formulations, and test results for management review.
-
Degree in Chemical Engineering / Polymer Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
Requirements
-
2–5 years of experience in PVC/plastics industry (pipes, pvc wall panels, stabilisers, additives, or compounding).
-
Practical knowledge of formulation, compounding, and processing of PVC.
-
Experience with one-pack lead-based stabilisers is essential.
-
Understanding of industrial chemicals used in plastics (waxes, lubricants, fillers, modifiers, etc.).
-
Hands-on on-field/plant experience in troubleshooting and process optimization.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
