Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Practical Instruction

• Deliver foundational lectures and conduct tutorials for undergraduate (Pharm.D.) students in designated areas of pharmaceutical sciences under the supervision of senior faculty.

• Supervise and lead practical laboratory sessions, demonstrating techniques, ensuring proper use of equipment, and maintaining strict safety protocols.

• Assist in preparing and setting up laboratory experiments, ensuring all necessary materials, reagents, and equipment are available and functional.

• Grade laboratory reports, quizzes, and assignments, and assist in the invigilation and conduct of examinations.

• Provide academic support and guidance to students, helping them understand complex theoretical and practical concepts.

Curriculum Support & Administration

• Assist the Head of Department and senior faculty in the preparation of course materials, including lecture notes, presentations, and practical manuals.

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and laboratory inventory.

• Participate in departmental meetings, seminars, and workshops.

• Contribute to the general administration of the department as required.

Scholarly Engagement

• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with advancements in pharmaceutical sciences and teaching methodologies.

• Assist senior faculty in departmental research activities or scholarly projects.
